It is important to talk

He came to the first meeting so closed. He hardly uttered a word.

Silence.

I gave silence the place.

During silence moments there are so many words… listen to it.

For the second meeting, I prepared different methods for the conversation. With great sensitivity and using different techniques, the discussion was more open.

Just before he left, he stood by the door and said to me:

"I talked a lot today."

I smiled and asked him: "And how do you feel about that?"

He replied: "I feel good. I feel really good to share."

Many times we are afraid to share. We are afraid that if we share something people might judge us, maybe they will say that we can't cope, and many other thoughts that go through our heads.

But when we share, we realize that by sharing we begin a journey of self-understanding of what is happening to us.

We start to understand that we all go through things in life and it's okay to talk about them.

So if you feel like you need to talk to someone, look for a close friend, or a good professional who will listen and lead you to look at things from a different perspective, and make it easier for you.

Don't stay alone

And I'm always here for you to guide you in this journey.
