Getting to know the culture you come across at time of relocation can also come via food. Food represents a very interesting aspect of the new place.
In the past, before massive transportation of ingredients food products from one place to another, people used what they found in their surroundings: local herbs, meat, fish and so on. Each culture maintains its culinary habits.
When we move to another place, we tend to look for familiarity such as food. Who didn’t search for the right ingredient that gave the taste from home? Moreover, how many of us brought food from the homeland? But then, we miss discovering a whole new culture, a whole new possibility to create a new home, mixing culinary traditions.
